The Backbone

Trees during their lifetime absorb a lot of atmospheric carbon and store it within. By sourcing timber from sustainable farms and using it as a construction material, we are helping lock this carbon in buildings. This makes it a renewable material, one that is grown rather than manufactured.

Timber also helps us reduce our dependence on carbon-intensive materials. Thus, timber not only offsets carbon but also sequesters it.  The more we grow, the more we use, the better it is for the planet.
